    Poetry was easiest LOL.

But it really depends on your strengths...
Also, the course varies from professor to professor even if it is the same course.
They might have different ways of teaching and homework.

I found that poetry was easier out of the two english classes that I took. (102 and 105)

Like Vonnie said, it depends on what your good at.

But you can't really go wrong with Fiction as long as you read the books.

English 105 is a joke of a course. You basically have to read a book by an unestablished author and critique it for the main project. Outside of that we discussed things like the Matrix and abortion rights. Easy mark.

You're going to set yourself up for failure if you ask general questions...you should ask about specific profs and specific classes as vonnie mentioned.

Be careful when seeking advice for classes, you may hear _____ 101 is easy, then get the exceptional teacher who is a hard marker. I learned this the hard way before.

All of the English courses I've taken have been ridiculously easy...if you can read and write, you shouldn't have a problem.

It depends on the theme for the semester. When I took ENGL 101 it was prize-winning novels, so we got to read Life of Pi and Curious Incident. There was also a graphic novel. So yeah it was pretty sweet. Plus Colligan was teaching and she's a really good prof.

I heard 105 had a semester with horror fiction... the next semester it was books about the body =S
