I am fully aware that the pic above is a reference to the car Homer Simpsons designed for his lost brother Herbert Simpsons's car company Powell Motor in the Simpsons Episode "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" As a result of this car, Powell Motor went bankrupt because this car would cost $82,000 ($125,791.13 when inflation adjusted to 2007) and it is likely no one will buy it.
Here is my question: Why would this one car bring down a whole car company? I mean, sure, Powell Motor wasted $125,791.13 along with more money on the development, but that surely can't bring down a company. It is not like the car is already in production, is it? Isn't The Homer is more like a concept car that is commonly featured in car shows?
This car is so cool...the outer skin is made out of a space age fabric that allows the car to change shape according to changes in the frame underneath. Although they don't mention it in the video, I think the most important benefit is that it creates a phenomenally lighter car. And obviously the wow factor of being able to change your curves according to your mood and driving style. Watch the video, it's a must see

I don't really see my dad to be honest, so it's kind of hard to answer that question.
If I were to guess, the accumulated time i've spent with him since I was about 12 years old to now (20) has probably been about 5 hours.
