Hi, could anybody give me their opinion on this SFU event called Frost?

Is it worth going to? etc?

Thanks!

It's not an SFU event, it's a faculty event. As far as I know, only three faculties have it. Computing Science, Engineering and Business.

It's like any event. No, its not worth going to.

I didn't know the Business department had Frosh week. The CS faculty sets up a bunch of booths and serve some free food along the main area of the Applied Science Building.

I think they have some games and stuff set up. If thats your thing, you can attend it.

Uh... that's not Frosh. I don't think you properly understand what it actually is.

Frosh week in CS usually involves a lot of running around downtown, wearing ridiculous T-shirts, slurpee drinking contests, etc.

Or maybe he's actually referring to an SFU event called "Frost".
It could be one of those outdoor events in the convo mall where everyone freezes their ass off.

Have you checked out the Frosh website?

As for myself, I have no idea whether I should go or not yet... I mean, 65 bucks for something that looks only alright? But then again, I heard it's a great way to meet new people and get yourself out there.
