ENG 199 - anyone taken it?

I'm thinking about taking this class distance ed. There's no final and it's writing intensive, so I'm expecting that.

It's the no final part that intrigues me, as that's usually the time when my grades have the opportunity to jump off the bridge of 3.0+.

Any experience with this class?

    It's above writing intensive. Three hours of seminar is absolutely murderous... You are subjected to falling miles behind if you take this class in distant ed, but who knows.

    There is no final, but there is FINAL PAPER (30% of your grade), which is pretty much the same.

    Thanks for the reply. You've basically scared me out of it :p

    I'm basically looking for a no-final class that's not TOO difficult and doesn't have a huge workload. I guess ENG 199 isn't the one.

    Distance Ed version of this class was super slack.

    you cant take this course in first year can you? i think you need 12 credits as a pre-req?
