Take 154, and if you have trouble with the algebra any of the other 150 stuff, just go to the open tutorials. Take advantage of the help that the department offers, the TA's are there whether you use them or not. If you got a decent mark in math 12, you'll be fine.

Surprised the math department even bothered with something like this. Way too many of the math profs at SFU seem to act as though mathematics was a be-all and end-all in and of itself and have little appreciation for relating what they do to the physical significance of the calculations.
Eigenstuff is a classic example. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors, in and of themselves, seem like a very abstractly painful manipulation of matrices, when in practice, doing eigenstuff on physical systems yields useful results (particularly so in quantum mechanics. :) ).

Is 150 the "normal" calculus? Why would it be harder? because from the description it gives, it seems to have more review than 151 & 154
