Can you be a lab rat and take the course? Tell me how it is afterward because I am somewhat interested in taking it as a GPA booster.

It's probably not. FPA courses aren't usually the best gpa boosters. They're more or less designed for people who intend to pursue a degree in that faculty.

Meh, they said in the calendar that this course "may be of particular interest to students in other department." I should have said that I maybe using it to finish off that few credits left in my degree.

Yeah, but when a course says that, it usually means it's hard as fuck for people in other departments.

    Take Cmpt165 for example.

How the fuck do you mess up simple design mechanics and principles?

This is why I want a lab rat.

Tell me, by "into the whole acting bit," is she the "in every school play and get A from Drama 8 to Acting 12" type or the "hardcore serious about acting and want to go full time" bit.

I am asking because I am the "in (almost) school play and get A" type. I am worry it may not be enough and taking FPA 150 may land me in a world of pain.

Hey guys. This sounds like an interesting course. What say we all take it (those of us who need extra credits) like me, and those of us who are into acting and might want to take it on in the future.

Not exactly. She geniunely loves acting and is really good at it. She was only in two plays and got shitty roles and now look at her! She claims it was super easy though. She ended up with an A+.

My case is similiar. However, I am pretty much through with acting after high school and I don't know if this will hurt me if I do enroll in FPA 150.

Yeah, your situation sounds a bit similar. I'm sure you'll do fine. For her, it was mostly monologues and group work. She also had to instruct and lead vocal exercises and stretching occasionally in the beginning of the class. If you're into that stuff and if it comes easy to you, I'd just say go for it.

I don't remember her name but I'll ask her. She took the course in Harbour Centre though, not the one at the Burnaby campus. I'll find out for you.
