Farsi (Persian) or Arabic at SFU?
I'm sure none of you have taken either of these classse, or if you have.. awesome...
I was wondering something... can I use this to get a language credit? I speak both and I know they wont let you take it if you do, but I can always fake it.
I was just wondering if this would be a non credit or a credit course cause I don't get anythin on SFU's website about either of htese classes..
is it even worth it?

HAHA if so, this is awesome.. im gonna ace this shit.
Don't worry, I know a perfect way to counter this policy.
I'll fake not knowing either Hahahahaha.
it probaby also falls into their definition of 'academic dishonesty' which could get you in big shit
if you want to risk your 450 dollars and risking getting a W on your transcript go right ahead
It's not like he/she can PROVE i can speak it fluently.. unless he/she hears me talking to a friend or something.
it says in the desc those with a competency for this language beyond that of the course will be required to withdraw, im sure you can take the advanced courses and get A's and they wont care, taking the intro is against the rules technically
just dont be bitching on here in a few months when youre being forced to swallow a W or are put into an advanced course for the next semester
when theres a will there's a way
if you know 100% of it, it's pretty easy to get the odd question wrong here and there, lol
Money from iran doesn't matter... he's wiring it to me.. h'es not paying SFU directly.
They cant kick a persian out of an intro persian class, he could genuinely not know how to speak the language lol
maybe youll get by maybe you wont, all im saying is my friend got questioned and she didnt even have a french accent, nor was she even getting 100%, if you excel in an intro class that specifies you cant have proficiency in the class they may ask you to withdraw for example, accent, or even context of your answers on a test...for example there is a big difference between how someone who isnt french and someone who is words phrases
i had an intercession class and the teacher kicked three people out who were sick more than twice, for any reason, the school doesnt necessarily have fair rules
