FREE MONEYSSSSS!!!!!

edited June 2008 in General
So did all you guys get your $100 cheque in the mail?...
lol it hilarious that ppl are so happy about getting "free money" when rising gas prices, the new carbon tax, and just the general increase in the cost of living is gonna give all that money back to the government in a matter of weeks.

Why call it a gas rebate when they give it to everyone? My friends 14 year old brother got one... he can't even drive if he wanted to

are you sure hes telling the truth? you cant get it unless you filed your taxes and last time i checked fourteen year olds + labour laws

unless paper routes or something count, whens the youngest you can even get a SIN?

i heard some of the older guys at work talking about this. if you have kids you can apply for it for them (b/c you drive them around etc and their expense are your expenses since they are dependent on you)

but ya my 12 yr old cousin got one. you have to apply though.

$60 bucks to fill a full tank on a Civic. That plus carbon tax would probably be around 65-ish or something. That leaves $35 for a few more days of ramen! HORRAY!!
  • edited June 2008
    I spent mine already.

$45 on taking ex co-workers out for brunch.

    $55 on hygiene products.
