Uploading webpages to the SFU FTP server?
I had no trouble uploading my 1st assignment to the FTP server and I could access my page at www.sfu.ca/~userid.
But how do I upload more webpages (my 2nd assignment) to the server? Do I have to remove the 1st assignment first? I read the instructions and it said my starting file should be named index.html; however, my first assignment is named that already.

I'm going to take a guess and say it's cmpt 165?
Try this:
Rename your first assignment to assignment1.html and your second one to assignment2.html.
When you go to your webspace, you should see a list of the two files, and as long as you don't have anything named index, you should continue to see that list, which will allow you to select which page you want to view.
edit: free rice huh?
For some reason, my first assignment is stuck on www.sfu.ca/~userid. Even when I remove the file (or rename it to something else) from the server, I can still access it!
If you name your file index.html, the server automatically loads it so don't do that.
Besides that, have you never heard of folders?
