Ipod charger
Hey guys, my name is Jamie and I used to be a student at SFU (graduated spring 2007, thank God I'm done). Anyways, since graduating I moved to Toronto and I'm working for a word of mouth marketing company (Matchstick).
We are running a program right now in Vancouver and we're looking for people to try out a new charger for their ipod. It is for use on the go and is made by Energizer. On the go means that it can be taken with you anywhere and you can use it to charge up your ipod when it dies at school, on the bus/skytrain, basically anywhere.
If you're interested in it then you can check out www.matchstick.ca/energihttp://www.matchstick.ca/energi and that will tell you more about how the marketing program works.
You have to qualify for it first (be between 18-35, be a commuter, use your ipod a lot) but I know that most university students fit the bill already.
If you have any more questions about it you can email me at jamie@matchstick.ca. We are looking for 50 people and as of today we have 14 qualified.
Thanks,
Jamie

Besides, carrying around a device that is bigger and heavier than the iPod in case it runs out of power is pretty ridiculous. Furthermore, batteries are expensive and they tend to be dead whenever I need them.
I might consider buying a hand powered device to charge the iPod using kinetic energy just temporarily until I could get home to plug it in.
I am not one.
