Organic LED Display from Sony

This is going to be the next wave of TVs and computer monitors...probably not anytime soon but we'll start seeing these on the market within the next 5 years I think...and it has higher than HD resolution which is unbelievable

    The display shown doesn't have a resolution higher than HD. The author of the story is merely saying that if they were to create a larger screen by putting a bunch of those together, then they would have a resolution higher than HD.

    next 5 years? i thought these were gunna be available in 08/09 (only in smaller sizes)

    wow...you guys got me there...still cutting edge, or better technology has come out that you guys know of? flexible displays are pretty cool

    I've been waiting for OLED since 2005. It's not gonna be widely available until post 2010, and even then it will be in small displays. (Just like how they are used in cellphone displays right now)
