Good auto body repair shops?

edited April 2008 in General
Some SOB scratched the front left side bumper of my car. there are like 3 scratches on the car, not huge but definitely noticeable. they are kind of deep too.

does any one know of a reliable auto body repair shop that is not toooo expensive to get this fixed?
i'm sure this is a common fixer upper for repair shops but i need some place that is good, but not going to empty my pockets lol

first of all, did you report it to ICBC?

well it wasn't part of a collision. i was parked in a lot, when i got back to the car i saw the scratches.

and even if this was considered 'vandalism' which i don't think it is..i don't have coverage for that. i'm too cheapo to pay for comprehensive coverage :P

yeah it's not that bad and i'll at least wait till i have enough $ to get it done. it's just i've never had a scratch on my car and i'm really annoyed by it.

MG Collision in Richmond is awesome. The estimate turned out to overestimated so I ended up paying less and the job done was excellent. They matched my paint perfectly and were a pleasure to deal with.

chances are it won't be more than your deductible ($300? $500)

so there's no point paying $300 if the repair cost will only ring up to ~200 etc. That happened to my car as well, and i just left it there until more damage along the same area (eg bumper) then it'll be worth it to pay the deductible..
