WOOO!

I was dreading having my Chem 121 lec/lab mark come up on gosfu, but it just came in. I was expecting somewhere in the range of a C, what with my utter bombing (or so I thought) of my final. I ended up with a B+!

Should have looked at the class averages for those exams, I guess. WOOO!

I'm gonna dance my way to the dinner table, now.

    29/90 on the math 152 final (20% below average) = C-

    i got a B- in CMPT 165 =( i almost failed the multiple choice part of the exam, gpa go bye bye

    Still relatively new at SFU so i'm not sure how this whole curve/scaling thing works. Do all faculties scale or only some? I know all business classes are curved, but I don't know about the others..

    only classes were people tend to do poorly, it depends department to department, and even then they bend the rules and do whatever they want

    Somehow I got only an A- in cmpt165 :(

    Meanwhile thanks to the curve I also got an A- in cmpt150, which I was on the verge of failing :D

    Thanks to the lack of curving, I only got an A- in Crim131.
    But the curve saved my ass for psyc102 :D

    omg, i'm rocking this semester so far.
    A- and A+ ...i'm a nerd.
    Do econ and phil profs tend to scale the grades? I don't want to be on probation..
    which econ class? i know i've had econ classes that scaled the grades and some that didn't. depends on the prof i guess.

    i did better in the programming than i did on the MC in cmpt 165 i was blown away

    econ 260 and 282. The 260 prof is kevin wainwright.

    were you in D100 or C100 for cmpt?

    edit: wait i don't think C100 had multi choice...which would mean you were in at least two of my classes! :o

    Is your class average much less than 50? Cause curving a failing mark to an A in CMPT 150...

    I lost a letter grade in each of the two intro psychs too :/ but this time I lost it on some our stupid psych

    i did psyc 102 a long time ago

    i was in your CMPT class though, i cant believe i nearly failed the MC, i didnt understand half the questions yet read the books multiple multiple times, i thought for sure id fail the python but got decent in that

    the python questions in the sample final exam were WAY TOO HARD! the final was way easier, but the sample final had me freaking out, questions 4 and 5 i could not do

    I honestly doubt the python questions in 165 were "WAY TOO HARD" but just for shits and giggles please tell me what these questions were.

    Well, after epic success on the final exam, my percent (on gradebook) was listed as 63.
    And yes, our class avg was ridiculously low

    they were not
    what WAS hard were questions about the 'four design principles" and so on. those questions were such bullshit. Whatever. I got my A+, i'm happy.
