i love the sleeping in thing, its great

i love the "no guilt feeling" of wasting my time, not realizing its time i could be studying and making excuses for later

I am working full-time for the next 8 months! woot! I'm staying in Burnaby. But I start on May 5th and my last exam is tomorrow so I have some time to kill.... I'll be clubbing, hitting the beach, partying, shopping, exercising, doing outdoorsy things, sleeping etc.

Anyone have any brilliant ideas of what to do by yourself for an entire day that is interesting and different? I am talking about an individual vacation in Vancouver and the surrounding area.

Oh me too, its kinda weird tho. I feel like i should be doing something with my time right now.

I have nothing to do and im loving every minute of it :D

Ummm, for the next two weeks, im gonna relax, watch TV, go for walks with my dog, try to get myself back into shape (from the lack of working out lately), and trying out some new fitness classes. I also wanna go clubbing cuz i havent been out in forever!

For the actual summer, im gonna take a week off in June or July and go to Penticton most likely....or Cali. Not sure which one yet. Im very excited its my last semester, and im only taking 3 courses so it'll be a little more slack for me and not nearly as stressful as this one was. :)

Still trying to figure it all out....i kinda wanna go all over! Hit the major places of course like London, Paris, Venice, Rome, Madrid, Munich, Athens....but i still need to figure it out.

How about u? And how long are you staying in each place for? This is why i need to figure things out....i have no idea how long i need for each place.

This is really interesting. In my history tutorial we talked about what "Europe" means to Westerners. Notice how she says "all over" yet all of those cities (except Athens) are in Western Europe.

Whatever, there's not much to do in the east anyways.

I dont want to go to the Eastern parts of Europe. Mostly just the west. So that to me is all over. :)

gonna transform myself into a money whore and work my butt off.. i'm still deciding if i should take classes.. but that depends on how the marks come out.. if they're decent i'm going to treat myself to a summer break.. if not.. more schooling.. =\ but yeah.. i'm definitely hitting the clubs this summer.. i haven't gone in ages!! and i miss seeing the friends i only see in clubs.. lol.. XD

I was GONNA take a class, but since it's proportionally more expensive to take it in the summer, I'm gonna take it in the fall with my 4 other classes =P

My job person isn't calling me back =( I need to be a money whore too!

I'm taking 3 courses in the summer, but I quit my part-time job so I could just relax for a semester. But now I'm kind of scared I'll get bored with so much time on my hands =S

well i live there so i can stay as long as i want

personally, i cant stand the UK but in summer I’m sure they will have better weather then what ive seen, i really dislike the fact its uber hot and humid
ive been in london about 4+ times, longest i stayed was for 2weeks+ can’t remember exactly (during sept 11/2001) since all flights were grounded i got a free london vacation lol

Paris i haven’t been but i hear its dirty tho id like to go someday i guess...

Venice is NICE i kinda wanna go in winter now to see it when the water level is high and most of the streets (including main square) flood up
but its expensive and prices went up, actually when i went is when prices spiked esp for the boat rides lol i actually got interviewed for an opinion as a tourist for a local tv station haha

to Rome i didnt go cuz i didnt wanna sit on a train for that long hahah i drove to Verona then i took a 3h train to Venice ... so rome was quite a long way away and my luck with the italian trains was shit (1st class and NO AC!!!!) but the eurostar trains are friken awesome! just gotta make sure u take thos :P

Athens is a nice (and huge) city worth seeing once, but i wouldn’t go back, i think after 2010 would be worth going to Athens as right now their rebuilding all the ruins and 2010 is whe my tour guide said they were intending on finishing

as for recommendations anywhere sea side in Greece is a must! of all the places ive been in europe so far Greece blows them away, from crystal clear lime water to affordable hotels and food
im def going back to hit up more of the islands cuz their simply amazing lol

and ya Spain is a must too :D

as for time spent... i went for about 11days per country

3 courses and 2 jobs (1 of them is until June, so there's plenty of free time after). After being used to working lots, I'll have to get used with the extra time on my hands :)

lol bang for buck wise eastern europe is the place to be!
if u can ignore the poverty and party like a rockstar ull have the most fun :P
western europe has gotten far too expensive

and there are many places worth going in eastern europe,
Greece (all of it is pretty sweet), Croatia, Hungary has some nice places, Tuekey well Istanbul to be more specific :P

Hopefully, I will find a part time job in Richmond and I will work until mid-June. Then, I will be strapped onto a Hannibal Lecter like stretcher to be flown to Toronto for my cousin's damn wedding. Then I am flying back to H.K with my mom, where I hopefully will rediscovery my heritage and hopefully will have a successful shopping trip on the side.

Speaking of jobs, I am looking for a low-pay, no prior experience required, deals with food type of job. You know, the stuff high school dropouts deal with. Anyone know anywhere in Richmond is hiring? I mean, if some Mexicans can find a job one week after they illegally entered the US, then I damn well better be able to find something similiar or better!

First summer in a few years that I'll be staying in Vancouver. Head up to Whistler a few times, taking 3 courses, maybe find another job on top of my part-time...we'll see!

    M-F 1230-9

then schedule in my gym workouts, as well as my mixed martial arts training (either kickboxing or brazilian jiu jitsu)

on top of that during the weekends, i'll try to pencil in some plans with my boys and girls.

is it uncool to be working full time during summer cause this is the first time i'm doing full time and it is definitely time consuming ..
