Quitting a job after only 2 weeks?

Have anyone here quit a job after only 2 weeks of working there? Recently I have been offered a position with higher pay and in a better working environment. So I'm gonna quit the job I recently got hired for. I've only worked for this company for 8 days. Should I give them a resignation letter or just tell them I resign?

    I think it's fine if you want to accept the job with higher pay. Just say you feel this current environment isn't suitable for you and you want to change or something. Should still give a resignation letter.

    If it's only 2 weeks I don't think you necessarily have to be so formal about it. Just say that it's not working out for you and that you can't handle the work that your doing...they will be glad to get rid of someone who could possibly be a burden later on down the road.

    Hand in the letter... it shows that you respect them and it's much more polite. No use burning bridges...

    but would you still be putting in the two weeks notice?
