Wear Ed Hardy ???

edited April 2008 in General
Gotta question, do any of u, guys or girls, wear the ed hardy type of clothing?Do u girls actually think that stuff looks good on guys?

Honestly if I went out and 1 of my frinds was wearing these, I woulnt hesitate to give him a well deserved slap. I mean they arent even a fashion statement nemore, been outplayed by all them damn guidos lol

ed hardy (and christian audiger) is way too played out...some of the stuff is nice, but its strictly for the pooossers

ed hardy's got nice stuff if you know how to pick.. see something like the above is a bad choice.. where as their hats look great on guys (and girls too)... some of their guy graphic t-shirts look really nice too.. and i wished they have a girl's size for some of them..

for something that goes over edge with graphics.. you can't go wrong with accessories.. because you can really play up on those.. and it won't look out of place with your everyday clothing.. but that hoodie there takes up your whole upper body which would look really awkward if you're just taking a stroll on the street..

i was looking @ ed hardy gear last week most of their shit is not my style but there were a few things i wouldnt mind getting ...
  • edited April 2008
personally not a fan of the flashy. also screams " i have no personal style " as they just buy what is in style and disregarding the ridiculous prices.

only thing i can compliment them on is bringing back the style with the skull graphics.

I've never heard of this brand.

My bf loves the hats, and I think they're really nice.

The hoodies are a little over the top for me. I went with my bf once and he tried one on and i just laughed. The salesgirl was like, "omg it looks so great"....of course because she wanted the sale. I was like, "no it doesnt and hes NOT buying this so you can just go over there now". She was pretty pissed. lol.

It just didnt suit him....the hoodies are too flashy imo and seem to be fit for guys who have really broad shoulders. The hats tho, they're ok. Im gonna buy my bf one pretty soon actually because he really wants one.

I saw some cute belts for girls too. They were ok. I might get one of those for myself.

i actually really like the CA line. yea, it's true it's a little played out, but if you don't buy the stuff everyone else has, then it's ok. like with the girls stuff, they have some hot dresses and long sleeve tops that i would love to wear and not a lot of girls have em (not that i have seen). also, any of the stuff with the black panther on it is sooo nice too. so it really depends on what you pick and how you wear it :)
  • edited April 2008
Yeah I agree that it depends on how you wear it. I personally love the designs from Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier, and I think they look really good on both guys and girls when they wear one thing from the brand and keep everything else low-key. Unfortunately, most people who wear EH or CA overdo it and it looks trashy in my opinion... or it's bad when everyone in a group wears it. It just makes everyone look all tacky and... shiny.

k this is the stuff that i wear, and after a paycheque or two after i pay for my mma training and gym membership, chances are i'll be making these purchases.

much better than CA/EH in my opinion, not to mention they're not banned at clubs.

Eddie, you might be interested in Monarchy or Morphine Generation stuff.
You probably wouldn't mind Mike & Chris stuff (for outerwear) either. I LOVE M&C =)
  • edited April 2008
CNC is solid. i'll look into those two as well.

but you do have to remember part of it is the brand. I personally haven't heard of Monarchy or Morphine Generation, chances are the people that ask won't know either, then who gives a rats ass you paid 100+ per shirt lol right?

lol i dont wear ne of that "high class" brand name stuff. Like the biggest brandname clothing ive ever bought would have to be jeans from banana republic or guess lol. Otherwise im fine with nike and adidas and whatnot. I waste most of my money on soccer jerseys tho.

Just because you haven't heard of it, doesn't mean others haven't as well =)
I mean, if you wore it, I would know what it is ^___^

You like subtle but still noticable branding right? Monarchy and MG are basically those. Kind of like a toned down Sinful or Affliction type shirt. There are also some nice Diesel shirts, but some of them are more heavy on branding.

M&C on the other hand, are VERY recognizable. Their type of outerwear is pretty distinctly unique you would say, even if it isn't that different. No huge name branding.

  • edited April 2008
I don't like JL stuff. Quality is cheapo...
  • edited April 2008
you expect too much la~ >.<

i enjoy the clothing more of the style than the quality/fabric/stitching cause you can always just buy a new one.

why i like JL you ask? the minimalistic style, retains it's classyness, not exactly played out like TR/RR/EH/CA yet, has a nice logo.
  • edited April 2008
    NOT PLAYED OUT?!
Haha. Nice try on that one =)

If I spend $300 on a shirt, I expect some damn quality!!
  • edited April 2008
wow.. what kinda shirt for $300?
    better not be a t-shirt.. @_@
