What courses are you taking this semester? (summer)

edited May 2008 in General
Well I finally got into a crim class after weeks of checking sfu, my schedule is now:

Crim 436-3
Poli 411-4
SA 358-4
SCD 410-4

I'm just waiting for a semester where I can just take courses in my major

This could be an interesting semester though, I havent taken a SA class since first semester, first year. SCD, hell I dont even know what that class is about

yah psyc minor. That'll be my last psyc I think, and if I do better than a B- or w/e the 369 requirement is for practicum, I'll do the practicum in fall and be done with school :)

are you kidding? how is testing ONLY lecture material hard at all? You don't even need to read (or buy) the textbooks.

    and he's an awesome prof.

I've heard mixed reviews about that guy. My friend didn't do too well in his course this past semester. He got like 33% on the midterm so he was pretty much forced to do the term paper. Well, we'll see though. Who else teaches that course? It's always sessional instructors, right?

i don't know who else teaches it, it's always been Bowbrick ever since I came here, so that's 1077 (the semester I took it), 1081, and 1084.

We didn't even have the midterm/paper choice, he asked our class whether we'd be willing to do it...at the end of the semester, and started the experiment (after we gave a positive response) this semester.

While he does ask for details on the exams, it's not anything unreasonable as long as you know about his expectations. The only problem many people had was that his TA didn't really make his expectations clear (as opposed to his own tutorials). He added a second TA this semester, who allegedly was pretty good.
