Dope headphones for my Iphone

edited March 2008 in General
Anyone know some good headphones I can get for my ipod/iphone thing? I love music and I love being surrounded by an awesome beat, and the dinky little ear buds I got with the thing aren't really cutting it...they actually make the music sound annoying if you can believe that...any suggestions from you audiophiles/djs out there

Try these or these. The in-ear design ensures noise reduction and sound quality.

I'm with you on the Apple headphones (they suck, and they're practically guaranteed to fail on you after six months). But with Panasonic, you'll always get your money's worth, trust me

Look Here for all your earbud needs.

Personally, I don't like the in-ear ones because my headphone wires tend to get caught on things and I'd rather have my earbuds fall off then get ripped out of my head.

Edit: If you want sound quality get a pair of nice sony headphones... but those are too big to just stuff in your pocket.

keep in mind with an iPhone, the apple headphones have the built in mic in them, yes that lil dinky rectangle that hangs off the right wire (which btw can answer/hang up calls when squeezed and start/stop iPod)
Moreover, the iPhone and probably iPod too have the retarded long plug thus regular headphones may not work so u may need an adapter
I’m using the Belkin Headphone Adapter and its crap not to mention way too big but meh...

As for headphones I would agree with Panasonic, they make some really good headphones, not to mention Panasonic means Technics so get those RP-DH1200’s :D far too many people have the sonys

Sweet, thanks guys. Has anyone seen the headphones made by Dr. Dre and Monster? They are pretty hyped online but I don't know if they are really as good as they claim to be

The Panasonic RP-DH1200 looks like it'll be a good choice, but I wish I could find a pair of headphones with a built in mic that would be the best of both worlds

ya i found that an issue with mine after i did the 1.1.3 softupdate the ipod stoped working form that mic

but works again on 1.1.4 but its still iffy
try this, when the ipod is locked press the top power button so it lights up (or even home screen once) then press the button on mic it "should" play music

    if that dosnt work,
(when the phone is on standby locked) press the home button once then again twice this should open the ipod, hit play, once it plays squeeze the mic 2times ina row, this should skip song, press once should stop music

the mic issues i found are related to the unlock method...

it's not that big of a deal anyways, not going to bother with all that, not to mention i still have to organize my itunes library first which is a pain in the ass.
