If you mean walking from the Skytrain station to SFU Surrey, that takes less than a minute, it's like right next to the Surrey Central Skytrain station. SFU Vancouver is pretty close to the Granville Skytrain station. If you include walking to and from the respective Skytrain stations, I would say about 45-50 minutes, just to be safe.

i think its ingrained in our heads that when we go dt we always get off at burrard or granville and never consider waterfront unless we go to the northshore...but in fact waterfront is closer than granville, only a block away as opposed to three from granville
 Hey! Cut me some slack, children. I wasn't too far off, considering where it is; and that's pretty good if you take into account that I've never, as an undergraduate, actually taken classes there, and hence, I've never had to go there. So give me a break, will ya?
driving will depend on what time. about 10-1 it will take probably 20 mins driving. from 7-10, 1-6, it will take an hour or longer lol
20 min? It takes me 23 minutes from SFU Burnaby to Langley (probably about the same distance) with 0 traffic, and that's gunning it. I'd imagine the traffic in Van is worse, regardless of the time. In peak times, I'd imagine 1.5 hrs+
Yeah, for me to drive from Residence to 200th street in langely it takes exactly 20 minutes (without rush hour). Five minutes to the highway and then another fifteen to 200th.

But if you can do it in 20, that takes talent :)
