Mark here

edited March 2008 in General
I wanted to say a little more than "hello" in the title.

Yes, my name's Mark. I'm a comp sci student... 3rd year. Living in residence (for now..). I'm sexy, single, smart and funny ;) And not desperate at all! Oh, and I'm going to be ridiculously rich. Soon. (Very ambitious)

    LOL. Hi Mark.
How exactly do you plan to accomplish your goal of being ridiculously rich soon?

and JayDub, it looks like you have a new friend in REZ =D

    Uhm..

I believe that if you want something bad enough, you feel you deserve it, you're willing to work for it, and you're willing to accept it, you shall receive it. Where there is a will, there is a way. And there is definitely a will and a way; I have a lot of will, and many other people have already found the way, and I know I'm smarter and better than them (okay, that sounds arrogant, but c'mon, not all those rich people are geniuses). Or, to quote the man whom first inspired me, "What one man can do, another man can do".

More specifically however, I've got a couple projects underway (top secret) which should at least generate small sums of money, and I'll work my way up from there. Still in the learning stages here :D I'm a late-blooming entrepreneur.

I just wish my parents had raised me with this you-can-do-anything attitude, and I might have been somewhere by now :p Oh well... I'm not terribly old yet.

Hey Mark....you sound a lot like me hahaha...it's true...if you work hard enough and stay focused and you really want something, you will eventually find a way to get it. But there's a lot of obstacles in the way, which you have to creatively get around which means never giving up (resilience)...ultimate success is a great goal...but it's defined differently for everyone...being rich is just one peice of the puzzle ;)

Hey Mark, I'm in rez and about to start my third year of comp sci.

    Which building are you in?
  • edited March 2008
@JayDub: I'm in McTaggart Cowan. You?

@da_prodigy: Well, it's more than just money for me too. It's really about accomplishment, and being recognized for my work. Money is more of a measure of success. If people buy it, they've got to like it, right? :P But money is great too :) It means freedom and less stress. I can go out and never have to worry about how much I'm spending. I can treat out my friends and family. I can travel the world, and do everything I've ever wanted to do.
