Easy 300 electives

edited March 2008 in General
Hey what are some easy upper level 300 electives that you guys would suggest to take as a GPA booster. I know UBC has like wine tasting and fun stuff, what does SFU offer?

Crim 355 - Forensice Science...is an awesome class and it's really easy too.
Also CNS 390 - Hockey in Canadian culture...all you have to do is write 4 essays.

I mean, if you can understand the concept that BIG BUTTONS are easier to find for a user than a small button, you are well on your way to an A.

How about gerontology? A lot of their upper division classes don't require any pre-requisites, same with Canadian studies.

I have GERO 300 and BUS 303 jotted down for some reason...
CNS 390 will be on my list, no doubt.

I am taking (hopefully) CNS 390 in the Fall. I heard that it isn't an easy, instant A of a class, but it definitely is interesting which does tend to help grades.

I'm planning on taking GERO 300 in the summer (distance ed) just cuz there are no other UD class that seem easy or interesting. Anyone know anything about this class?
But the CNS 390 course actually is pretty good. There are 5 books and for the first 2 essays (which is a page total of 8 double spaced) I read half of 2 books. The 3rd essay is all about outside references and the 4th essay in 3 pages long...maybe not an easy A, but definately an easy B+.

GERO 300 is alright so far. You write 2 papers and write a final (40%). Plus you have to post some online discussions (10%). First paper 20% (2000-3000 words) you go to an adult day care center and analyze the different aspects of the place through some theories. Second paper 30% (5000 words) is pretty much whatever you want to write about that has anything to do with the aging process (i.e. alzhiemer's, reminiscene, etc.) You have to pass the final to pass the course.

This course is very interesting, you should take it.

That actually sounds kinda rough...first going to an adult day care center and then 5000 words...you got me scared now!

    Has anyone taken EDUC 351?
