edited February 2008 in General
I just ordered a 120 dollar Sedu ionic tourmaline hair dryer I love it, it used to take like 10 mins to dry my hair now its like 3-4 minutes its great and it falls how I want it

I used to use this pocket conair dryer Ive had for like two years until it finally broke.

Well when your hair is longer you want something thats less damaging, and if I go out without my hair dryed and still wet itll just poof up when it dries and ill look like some kind of "street walker"

My hundred dollar hair straightener just broke =(

Wow... my hair dryer is a towel that I got as a gift.

Of course it is the same towel I use after getting out of the shower.

Girls do come at a price but they don't necessarily have to be high maintenance. Visual appeal is dependent on what the man finds beautiful.

theres a difference between high maintenance and high performance

in an analogy guys might understand

a really expensive car that uses really good fuel

my bad for not explaining what i meant by high maintenance.. i wasn't referring to gold diggers per se.. but the time and effort it takes to look good/ do the make up.. that itself is high maintenance.. (or maybe it's just me who thinks that way).. i know girls who wake up 2 hours earlier just to have their make up done right or have their hair look a certain way etc and don't try to deny it because like you said guys like pretty girls.. heck.. everyone likes pretty things.. and that comes with a price.. literally and non-literally..

so all i'm saying is that the visual appeal you see on some girls.. comes from high maintenance efforts.. like losing 2 hours of sleep a day sometimes..

Makeup? I hope that makeup isn't like artifical cake frosting on a girl's face because that is not high maintenance. I think you are are referring to girls who take 2 hours to prepare for a date and not girls who look naturally good everyday. The women who can can just put on a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, a baseball cap with no make-up and still awe guys are what I consider high maintenance.

What about the effort on the guys part to do 400 sit-ups and intake supplements to get those ripped abs to show? Isn't that visually appealing to some girls? It takes 2 hours of motivation a day to get those set & reps down.

10 sets of 40. Try to get out of bed the next day!

so if i wanted to get a six pack, i just do 400 a day every day?
  • edited February 2008
A six pack is earned and revealed slowly. To want a six pack cannot just be done by 400 a day.
  • edited February 2008
so, on top of the 400 sit ups a day what else must be done

Why, who are you trying to impress?

doing 400 a day is just overtraining and doing it properly would be much more effective
sure you'd be sore the next day but thats because your muscles will be destroyed and by doing it every day, you never give them any chance to rebuild

Chinese people like to exaggerate. Don't take the 400 seriously.
  • edited February 2008
No pain, no gain. Muscles take time to heal. Abs that can do 400 a day do look visually appealing and require daily maintenance

Not all Chinese people are the same. 400 +/-120

uh hes telling the truth, as a girl ive reached times where I could do 400 as well i remember reading in a magazine in like 2000 that britney spears got hers by doing 500 with a personal trainer a day

after the first few times my stomach hurt so much but i was in high school its not like i had anything better to do after school

before i knew it i had a flat stomach and the lines of definition within two weeks, and the subsequent tries of 400 or so did not hurt as much or take as much struggle

i dont do 400 a day anymore, but i do like 400 a week and my stomach til this day is flat, maybe not chiselled or ripped like guys abs but i think it looks decent

Thats not true at all. Sure several situps can help make them stronger and maybe increase there visibility but that doesn't mean anything if you dont have really low body fat between 6-10 % and the proper genetics. Those two things have more to do with abs then a million crunches a day ever will. If I hand you a 400 pound man and he does 400 a day for the rest of his life his abs will get stronger but he will never see them. Also why are you doing 400 a day? what makes them different from any other muscle you want to develop that you use some weight and have 3 or 4 sets of 10 or 12 ? .
