@siuying sadly i wear em sighhh need to get some WRs now.
@shuya80: the thing is.. short girls can pull it off too so long their body is proportionate..
there's nothing wrong with sporting TR and RR's.. they're still nice jeans.. =) just that i don't like wearing stuff that everyone else is wearing.. hence i have no tna's.. no hollister.. no AE.. and no AF's in my wardrobe.. and yes i know i'm a prick..=P but i do make exceptions for jeans.. ^___________________^
@ vonnie: let's get your jean thread back on track.. =P i LOVE Kasandra strutter silver!!
OMG, I've been looking to find a pair of those silver strutters (came out around nov. 2007 I believe) and they're STILL at $260 a pop. I'm not gonna pay retail, but those jeans are SOOOOOO beautiful :P Sigh... The jaguar cut is nice too...
What I don't get is why the price is increased just because they're endorsed by Justin Timberlake. It's not like he makes them himself, or that he's a fashion designer. And just like any other jeans, these ones are mass-produced in factories. What makes them so special, that they end up being the 3-4 times the price of other jeans?
While I'm on the topic too, the same goes for celebrity endorsed fragrances. They just come up with some smell that's similar to the million others out there, and slap Hilary Duff/Britney Spears' name on it, and suddenly it's high-end. What the hell is up with that?
Well, using clothing as an example still, there's a level of quality. I'm sure the dollar-store underwear probably isn't the best quality, but if you get underwear from Sears, for maybe 5-10 bucks, it'll be made better, and thus last longer, I assume.
Same goes for shoes and jeans/shirts, whatever. Extremely low price means a dip in quality. But what I figure, is that there's a limit to the "quality" of clothes you can get. Whenever I ask, it's always "well, these jeans are better quality, and they fit better". Is that really true though? Or are people just trying to justify their purchases? Because they obviously can't be perfect fit for everybody, since we all have different body shapes. And unless those jeans are indestructible, I don't see a reason why there are $500 jeans, except for people who seem to have a ton of money burning a hole in their pockets.
Anyhow, my original point was that celebrity endorsement of any product is always a load of bullshit. Especially products from companies that they started. Except for the George Foreman Grill.
I explained this in an earlier post, but maybe it doesn't matter how stuff fits on a guy, I find that higher end clothing FITS EXTREMELY better than say jeans from Old Navy. I don't have what you say an "average" figure, so generic stuff doesn't fit me well. (The smallest size at Old Navy doesn't even fit me...) Where do you really find a size 23-24 jean that has an inseam of 34"-35"? Not at Sears that's for sure.
And they're not all mass produced in factories by machines. See here how Sevens are handmade:
I didnt read through this whole thread, only the first couple of posts....If you ordered something and you did not get what you ordered, you should return it.
And if it was me, I would make the biggest fuss and complain like you wouldnt believe that they would send me the jeans for free.
Return them. Not that they dont look good, but they're not what you ordered, now are they.

lol baby e that's just a command for vonnie. not as much even a question otherwise you would have put a question mark on the end of the sentence haha.
the difficulty is she'll have to pay the shipping/handling back to revolveclothing in the states, and they might make some bullshit up that since she already basically got 100$ discount, that they can't do an exchange etc.
Actually Eddie, they refund the shipping costs to you since its there fault (done before). And I'm not too good at arguing unless it's face to face haha...

I'm currently scouting EBAY ^______^
you know i was that close to racking up $4xx on my credit card when i tried it on in aritzia.. funny thing was.. i came out of the changing room and to look at myself in the mirror.. the next thing i knew... a 5'10 blonde came out wearing the same pants stood next to me... i looked at her in her strutters.. then looked at myself in the stutters.. walked back into the change room (dejected) and left the jeans.. =( and while i was on my way out the blonde was lining up to pay for the jeans too... =(((( but yeah.. now that i think about it.. i should thank the blonde and her long legs.. or else i'll be crying over my $4xx... =P
WOW they were $400-something? DUDDDDDE CDN prices SUCK. But I never buy anything from Aritzia anyways so its fine.. lol. They don't have a great selection and believe that $5 off is an ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AWESOME discount. Har har har...
I have YET to find someone / see someone wearing strutters!!! I want to be the first ahahahaha.
