Have you guys try selling on ebay?

I am just wondering if selling things on ebay makes good money??

One of my friends told me ebay is the best way to make money online....I am skeptical about ebay since I don't know much about it....

    I bought a wireless card for a laptop 2 years ago for $5 and just sold it last week for $20, plus $10 for shipping (and it'll probably cost a lot less).

    I used to sell a lot of stuff on ebay. I made tons, lol.

    If you know the market prices, how they fluctuate, and can balance your revenue with the fees they make you pay, then you can get a lot of money. But I mean, if you sell one or items, then there's no point; might as well just sell it on craigslist because local they will pay more if they don't wanan go through ebay/paypal hassle.

    I buy and sell stuff quite frequently, but usually just on craigslist.

    I had such a good sale a few weeks ago:
    I bought a Dell Latitude D400 laptop for $350 on craigslist, mint, came with everything.
    I cleaned it up a bit, then sold it for $550.
    $200, just like that. =)
    Of course... I knew what I was doing lol.

    i never sold anything but had a few bad experiences buying, getting pirated copies of movies games etc

    one time this guy never even sent the item, never responded when i mailed him, so i failed a complaint with paypal, got my money back, and in the paypal complaint he said he sent the item and it must have been lost by the post office

    best part of all, after i got my money back because paypal didnt buy his bs and lack of response time, he was so disorganized, it was a small user business, that he sent me the item 12/03/06 after i had gotten my refund on 10/21/06, he sent it then because he was out of stock until then, but had so much business he couldnt keep track of what he sent and what he couldnt send cause he didnt have the stock

    end result i got a refund and i got the item

    My friend was selling some nike shoes on ebay back few years ago and he made abit over cad$10000. actually he was buying shoes at a discount price from footlocker and resold them on ebay. He told me there are tons of opportunities on ebay but you just need to be good at it in order to make good money.
