Clothes, brand name or generic?
When you buy clothes does brand name have any pull on you?
I think the one outfit Im wearing right now is about 500 dollars in total
I find even if other people dont know it was that much I feel as good, as how much I spent on the clothes in relation

i usually spend my money on electronics... but now i got no money to spend cuz of bills, lol.
I should be paid to do this, not the other way around.
i tend to wear JL, guess, mexx and they don't have big honking logos on them if that's the issue.
i recently bought a pair of guess jeans and i really like them. even though they are the most expensive pair i ever bought ($110), i think it's worth it.
t-shirt = free from work, zip up = free from work because someone left it behind
jeans = $10
not sure about shorts underneath, they're really really old
scrub ftw
1) Sleeves are always too short. I usually wear an XS in everything, but usually when you go to normal stores, they have a "petite" section for XS items, and that's for small and SHORT girls. Their long sleeves are my 3/4 sleeves. It sucks. I find that brand name clothing make longer sleeves.
2) Pants are never long enough. I usually wear the smallest size you can find in pants, and well, like I said above it's usually categorized as "petite". Designer jeans usually have long inseams made for altering, so that works to my advantage!
3) Sometimes the smallest size in the store doesn't even fit me. Like 1's at Old Navy or whatever.
On a good note, shoes are fine! :) I have average feet hahaha.
More expensive isnt always better quality though...I bought a blouse from la chateau and it said it was okay to put in the dryer so i put in air dry and a burn mark showed up...i was pissed
An $800 set of clothes is quite something for a guy if you include a sports jacket and a tie but I could not wear a suit everyday on campus as a student.
And believe it or not, $800 may not be that much at all for a decent (not exceptional, but decent) suit, shirt, tie, belt, and shoes (not to mention tailoring).
As for me, though I do wear brand names, but I don't spend extravagant amounts of money on clothing that's ultimately casual. Money on dress is always better spent on clothing for more formal occasions (e.g. job interviews, ceremonies, etc.), even though spending money on a pair of R & Rs, Sevens or TRs may be more tempting.
So even though you don't wear it everyday, formal clothing that accentuates your looks is definitely worth it (say, if you land a job partly based on how you look).

Me too, and I do go toward brands and do buy brand clothing pretty much all the time, but its not because I have (some) money or I want to be cool. I like clothes and its kind of my thing, so I like to buy clothes I like that express me and it just so happens its the expensive side, but its worth it.
