Are there some past exams available in the library somewhere?
Or..how else would i get past exams? (Specifically looking for philxx1 but.. maybe other courses too)

    http://troy.lib.sfu.ca/search/r?SEARCH=exam+bank&searchscope=1

Not all professors upload their exams onto this site though. However, a better source of exams would be from students who have taken the course. Chances are some professors would let their students keep their exams as souvenirs.

I had a prof yell at a lecture this last semester because we weren't sharing old exams. "When I was a student, we were ORGANIZED! We had networking skills! We helped each others out, we were a damned Band of Brothers! I can't believe you guys don't have access to past exams. What a bunch of lazy sods." It was hilarious.

*laugh* Most of the time they seem ambivalent about the issue, and either reluctantly provide past exams or get a bit antsy when they find out people are sharing exams around. Ah well.

i know that mbb and bio, the student unions both control the exam banks. for mbb they are scanned onto the student union webstie and bio they have them in the student union meeting room. so maybe try the philosophy student union?
