    crim101... i think i did pretty good. wish i could get 80%
crim104... sigh, totally not well prepared. and since it's at 8:30am, i was too sleepy for exams.
psyc100 ... honestly, i did my study in the morning, before i wrote the exam in the afternoon. but i guess it would be fine.

overall i wouldnt give myself more than a c/c+ for test performance

econ 362, grades released, i did pretty good, held onto an a
buec 333, really worried, bombed test, riding my midterm success to hopefully a c+ or better
econ 393, didnt test well either, but im guessin class avg, b range?

CHEM 120: Judging from my final mark (B-) I'll say I got a B on the final
CMPT 120: Haven't taken this test yet but I would be horribly disappointed with anything less than an A
MATH 151: I think i am pretty much toast in this course

HIST 130: I found it to be pretty difficult. Random questions that had almost nothing to do with the course. Not taking a History course again...I'm hoping for a pass. Yikes.
CMNS 130: Pretty good. Thinking a B at the least.
PSYC 106: Could go either way, thinking probably a B.

I still have an English exam to write which should be pretty easy.

I got an A in CMPT165 and a B in BUEC232 so far. Since BUEC is scaled... I'd say I got a B- on my Final.

I worked pretty hard studying for finals but I had an essay due right during finals that really cut into my studying time which really sucks. I'd say at least B's across the board which isn't bad, because you have to keep in mind that everyone else is in the same situation as you so scaling will keep you at a similar level to what you were before going into the exam (usually)

I'm just glad BUEC 232 is over and done with!!

I didn't have too much studying thanks to the take home exams which I slacked on. Lol. The cmns261 was hard, I know it cost me some marks. My Humanities was ok, probably a B (but I'm sure I bombed the shit out of the MC quotes section LOL)

Not gonna lie, I have not received a grade because none of them have been released for me yet.
  • edited December 2007
One of my classes had the marks up the next day even though it was a completely written exam whereas my psych class takes up to a week because they have to send the scantrons to ubc to get marked so ironic

I think I did ok on my exams. However, I should have been less arrogant and studied more. Right now, I got a B+ and waiting for the rest to get posted.

We don't have our own scantrons machine!? What the hell are they doing with the $5000+ we pay them each semester?

What? They've got scantron markers at SFU, don't they? They must, my highschool has scantron markers.

You're lying. 232 is up. You just don't want to look at it.

My Psyc exam was the last to be written (and on scantron), yet it was the first one to be up.
    That's strange.

needed 3.5 to maintain the open scholarship so being out .5 sets me off for an uphill battle next semester

All of my grades came in today. 2.4 GPA...disappointed, but it's my first semester so hopefully I can bring it up in the Spring.
  • edited December 2007
Don't worry about it Nicole, just figure out ways to improve for next semester and you'll be fine. Since you only have one semester of credits, it will be easy to pull it up, but it gets harder and harder as you go so try to improve your grades semester by semester.

    Thanks, Kevin!
Two courses I took this semester were subjects I really wasn't interested in...and coincidentally I did brutal in those two, but an A and B in the other two that I absolutely loved. I definitely learned from my mistakes in that situation.

Nice Jimmy, keep up the good work.

Def. great results...I think an A+ in any class is a big accomplishment, and considering that was in chemistry classes (which suck) that's awesome!
