You think so? He's TOTALLY baby-ing the class! Sure there's memorization, but what we have to study is basically 2 chapters. If you even glanced over your notes for the quizes, it was pretty much the same material on each quiz, which is gonna be the EXACT same thing on the final. The finals ONLY worth 30%!!
Jamieson's class SUCKS, he does NOT know how to organize his lectures and notes. His material is from EVERYWHERE. FM is useless, there's only ever 1-2 MC questions on the quizzes so don't even bother reading it.
If this was a 200 level course, it would be unacceptable.
thats true~ but don't you think there's way too many sites to learn? besides, whats the good of knowing these places? like.. there's looting in sipan? learn to build pyramids? lol~

God, my final is tomorrow and its safe to say that ive read most of the books but im not sure how im going to form my esssays (the final is all essays). Should be interesting. But all i want to do is sleep ! :( I think i'll be up until at least 4am tonite.
ps i remember taking ARCH 100 in my second semester and absolutely hated it. Very annoying useless little facts. I especially hated how the lecture was 3 hours and how the prof always showed a movie in the last hour and you HAD to see it or else you might fail that part of the midterm/final. Very annoying indeed.
at least you managed to get a B+~~ I'm at C+ right now~~ .8 away from B-.... = =" maybe the final can pull me up to a B.. but i highly doubt it~
I don't hate the prof.. but I hate his T.A's who does everything for him.. the prof is mass slack~
I agree. I HATE Jay. Well, basically go print out the outlines of the chapters, and read them one or twice. They're on the website. There's also practise quizs on the website. Just breeze over it, he doesn't go into much detail anyways... The dates on the other hand, you should know.
