The working mind vs the school mind

edited December 2007 in General
Does anyone else notice this...

whenever I take summers off to work full time, I end up hating it wishing I was in school, cause when I'm in school i have more time each day to myself.

then when I'm in school i find that I wish i was in work, because when im in school i constantly feel guilty about not studying, and any free time isnt really free time, its time i should be studying

grass is always greener on the other side

working full time was cool, b/c of the leave everything at work attitude i adopted, nothin ever lingered on wher i had to take workload home, so that was nice.. but the whole daily grind of goin to work day after day really gets to u

school is nice, it just sucks i hav to pay so much.. so in the end, i end up working and schooling at the same time, go figure

    I get this too.

I hate working full-time because you have to go to bed earlier and wake up at the same time and do the same thing in the same routine. But when im in school, i dont have that same schedule, my classes are at different times during the day, etc. and so i start to crave for school.

But then i get to school and hate the fact that my sleeping schedule is now all messed up, I cant get a decent night's sleep, there's so much to read, there's so much to do and not enough time to do it in. And then i miss work and the money that comes with it.

Its a never-ending cycle. I dont have that much longer in school....I cant even imagine what it'll be like when im working full-time.... :/
