How to embed YOUTUBE videos

well since we have the function to embed the youtube videos, i might as well put up a quick tutorial

1_ FIND THE VIDEO (www.youtube.com)

2_ GET THE EMBED CODE

3_ INSERT YOUTUBE TAGS
4_ INSERT CODE BETWEEN YOUTUBE TAGS, make sure you use only the bolded part(as an example ) as the code, delete everything else

5_ FINAL PRODUCT SHOULD LOOK LIKE

[youtube]oREMRN6mUuw [*/youtube] (without the asterisk **)

    You can also use the embed code from the browser link instead of searching for it in the source code.

    Im still confused as to how to do it.

    But ive never really gotten computer stuff :(


    *EDIT* Omg i got it! How exciting for me (not being sarcastic btw). I changed my youtube link in the other thread and it worked!!!! :D

    she figured it out though. took me a bit to understand it without tutorials.
    ended up having to go and quote people who embedded videos and find out what they had typed in their post to embed the video.

    hope the tutorial helps.

    Anyways, back to the point, shouldn't this be in the fun stuff section since thats where all the youtube videos are?

    well i thought that it's associated with technology, therefore tech and electronics category no? funstuff doesn't have to be youtube vids.

    Its funny cuz i was gonna ask in my youtube thread "how do you get the youtube video on the screen like that?" and then i saw your thread in here.
