Would you re-do classes?

I'm just looking at my lovely collection of first year C's and an F....and I'm not very happy with these marks compared to my summer semester and current classes.

Would you guys re-do them? I have 6 C's - it's really embarassing. Should I redo like 2 of them to help my GPA and move on? I think re-doing ALL of them is a bit much but yeah. I don't know.

    I wouldn't redo them unless it's necessary. If you don't necessarily need a high GPA it would just be a waste of time and money. In your case, I would just complete all my upper division requirements first. When you're done, your GPA will probably be a lot higher. Or if you end up messing up some of your upper division courses, you have the option to repeat those instead as you're limited to 5 repeats at SFU.

    Thats kind of a waste of money, would you like to spend another 3k repeating them? That f you may be wise to repeat but the rest why bother

    yeah i got a D and four C-s, hahah

    If i ever do, it will be after I have completed everything.
    Plus, if I did do them, and I failed an upper division, wouldn't that mean i'd be screwed, since i couldn't retake it?

    frankly i would redo the F, not the Cs....i think an F anywhere is probably worth a redo, depending on how many credits you have it can make a crazy difference.

    Ah, ok. Yeah, I was just wanting to know. It's a total and complete waste of money to redo all of the C's, but whatever, I know what I'm doing now.

    The F (it was Geo) is offered in intersession over the summer so I'll be redoing it then!

    Wait till closer to the end of your degree so you can Re-Do the ones that will be most beneficial...most people do at least a couple re-dos

    Was it that GEOG 111?

    I'm thinking about taking it....is is that bad? :|

    It couldnt be GEOG 111....that course was fairly simple i thought.

    But i did really well in geography in highschool, so i dunno if that anything to do with it. Depends on if you like it or not i guess.

    And you have up to 5 re-dos before they start averaging your grades.
