Oooooohh....Skipping school
Whats your opinion? How do you feel when you do? Do you?
I havent gone to one of my lectures for the past 2 weeks as its audio recorded, I went to all my classes in sep and first three weeks of October, but I'm burnt out now.
I always feel guilty when skipping like I'm cheating, I think I'm going to start doing it more often in classes where I know going isn't going to help, I could either a)be reading the textbook instead of wasting my time in class or b) listening at home and not being stuck at the top of the mountain hungry and sleepy.

But then when you do go and you learn nothing more than whats written in the textbook, you're like, "Oh God, I should have just skipped".
Right now, I'm burnt out too and im so tired. I have so many things due in the next few weeks too. So skipping classes does pop into my head. But I still end up going to them, lol.
Reasons being:
a) I was burning out. b) my parents are away on vacay! party time! :)
I feel bad but for one my classes I've missed like 3 lectures in a row because my other communications class (220) keeps having workshops (in which he gives you answers for the paper, take home midterm etc) at the EXACT same time as my surrey cmns class..then one other time it was homework and drivers license. I'm not behind due to audio, but I find the guilt comes from missing tutorial... If it's really busy but I can swing it, I often just go to tutorial.
smart? i duno,
got Bs in them, lol
edit: and cmpt120
I would've taken CMPT126 if it were offered at Surrey...
Actually, I was gonna take it anyway, but, then, well, I didn't.
oh good old daytime television. anyways i've learned to only skip when you need to, eg study for midterm, finish homework assignment due that day. doesn't make me feel as guilty.
i've stopped going to math after the first midterm.
i have never skipped a crim lecture.
Im gonna go to them this week tho to make sure that i didnt miss anything crucial for the finals coming up.
otherwise, i have the mentality like even if i fall asleep in class and miss somethin, i cant use the excuse of not being ther, its on me
