Do you have a cellphone, or landline?

edited November 2007 in General
Why do you have what you do, and how much do you end up paying each month?

I have a cellphone and after all the dumb charges I end up paying like 50 a month, I personally don't see a point to having a landline, but I've met people saying they dont like always being able to get ahold of...to which I say you're not obligated to answer your phone everytime it rings?

    I have a cell, no landline. Even when I did have access to a landline, I'd always use my cell, it's just more convenient. I pay around $80 a month, after fees and taxes.

    Wow... $80!

    I have a cell phone and a landline at home? I still live w/ my parents of course.
    My cell bill comes to just under $50/month.

    RIDICULOUS.

    In HongKong, you can get 5000 anytime minutes (more than you really need!) for $40HKD. That's $5 Canadian.

    Screw Rogers >=(

    I have a cell phone and land line. My cell phone is with bell mobility. I pay around $70 per month for my cell phone w/ my corporate plan. In addition, I also have a landline with telus. That comes out to be around $27.32 per month. The land line does save me some money if I'm at home during the day time.

    Cell phone $31 after taxes. Good thing for unlimited network calling.

    Prepaid is probably a good bet becuase then you only use your phone if you really have to. I have city fido unlimited calling but over the years I've really restricted how much I use it. Periodically I will consider cancelling it so that people won't call me and/or distract me from school work, but having a cell phone is a convenience that I wouldn't be able to live without. These days its kind of pointless to have a landline, especially with text messaging being so convenient, but at my place the reception is horrible, so I use my landline when I want to walk around my apartment doing things while on the phone at the same time. During the day I just put my cell on silent and throw it in my bag...it's just a distraction in class.

    I have a cellphone only. I think it's more convenient as it's always with me. I pay about $40/month including taxes and everything.

    I got a pay-as-you go phone. $100 per year at $0.30 per minute. I hate talking on cellphones, let alone carrying it. It's pretty ideal I guess.

    $50 - $80 is outrageous by the way.
