The First Snowfall is Here

edited November 2007 in General
To all SFU students living off campus,

As of 9:40AM on November 19, it is snowing up here. The amount of snow is moderate. However, if this continues to tonight, expect high amounts of snow on campus tomorrow. Prepare your warm clothes for freezing temperature.

For the latest condition, please check...

Sincerely,

Aw man, you guys beat me to it! It snowed here before it even snowed out in kamloops, and they usually get snow early in November.

I can't wait to start hucking snowballs at cars in the parking lot. Guerilla warfare baby, gotta love it :D

Don't. I am registering tomorrow and I need some academic advisors to (sarcasm) scream at.

    fixed.

i left richmond and it was only raining so i thought i'd wear just my sweater and not bring my bigger mexx jacket. get up to gaglardi, it's snowing, had to walk in the snow in my cK sweater only, not that it was cold, i'm just afraid it'll ruin the fabric.

bites me in the ass for being lazy to just bring my jacket into the trunk of my car.

^lol that used to always happen to me last winter. I'd leave my house....the it would be sunnyish out and not too cold....get to Burnaby....so bloody cold and my jacket is nowhere to be found because it is hanging comfortably on the coat hook in my house.

Thats why i ALWAYS bring my jacket with me now to Burnaby in the fall and spring semester no matter what. Better to have it than to not.

We are SFU students, we are being sadistic to ourselves for volunteering to go to SFU, when why not other people.

^ well i certainly didn't volunteer to be in SFU.. if you call paying on avg 2K every 4 months volunteering then i'll rest my case.. i was talking people in general.. not just sfu students..

The snow isn't frozen snow, but it's still sticking a bit.
It kinda melts right when it lands on you =(

Lady/ or sir, I am no biology/ chemistry major, but average human body temperature is 37 degree, even a scoop of ice cream will melt on you if given enough time...
  • edited November 2007
I never specified where it lands on you... so it could be your jacket or shoe, etc. but it still melts, even if whatever it lands on is still cold!

and... I'm a lady, thank you very much.
