Insomnia and Dreams

edited November 2007 in General
I love living near gastown and hearing all the noise until the bars have to close, for some reason at last call they feel the need to blast their music to full blast that I can hear like its playing in my apartment when I live on the 22nd floor.

Then before it woke me up it was actually incorporating into my dream, I was dreaming there were riots at 3am and people with uzzis on the corner of the streets shooting people and the noise in my dream was synonomous with that which I heard upon waking from the bars down below.

Its now 330 am I have to be up at 5 for work and I think Ive gotten 2 hours sleep

although i dont remember my dreams (or if i do dream at all)

there has been the odd occasion where my environments had become a part of my dream, and it was totally trippy

the weirdest sleep/dream related thing was that i was awake, opened my eyes, but then my body wouldnt respond for a lil while.. that was scary but it passed really fast (i think i found somethin on it from google after, its somewhat common to some ppl)

My environment always incorporates itself into my dreams, whether its the phone ringing or my dog barking.

Lol, the other nite, I guess I was drooling while i was sleeping (so hot, i know!), and because of that, in my dream i was drinking water from a glass and it kept dripping down my chin and i was like, what the hell is going on?? Then i woke up and realised it was because i was drooling, lol.
