years to complete your degree?

edited October 2007 in General
how many years (overall) will it take you to graduate? it seems that almost everyone i talk to, unless they go to school during the summer semester, won't graduate within the expected four years?

i always work in the summer, and can graduate 4 years and one semester (depending on the courses offered), which isn't too bad. i took wayyyyyy to many electives. however i might add a minor and therefore it would be another semester added on.

I will be at 54 credits at the end of this semester and I have only been here for three semesters. I will be graduating in four years without doing a summer semester.

Probably 6 years overall for me. I wasted 2 and a half years as an English Major. :( I should have by BS in 2 years. Ugh, it hurts to say that out loud.

I think if you add up how long it took for me, about 6 years due to some course "re-do"s.

i'm probably going to take 5 years if everything goes well... i've been taking summer every year but still manages to be behind everyone.. lol.. and i just decided last year to pursue a double major.. so more courses to take.. but really 5 years is like a really optimistic estimation..

When I graduate, i'll have been in school for just over 4 years (but that all depends on whether i take classes this upcoming summer or just work).

    same here

At the end of the Spring '08 semester i will have 30 credits. I will be taking at least 1 course in the summer. Hopefully I won't be here for anything more than 5 years.

I'm finishing my last (3rd) co-op term. Then I'll be back for 4 semesters straight of studying, making the entire degree 4 years & 2 semesters (14 semesters).
