Wireless not working at school

edited October 2007 in General
Anyone else notice that the wireless connection isn't working around school? My laptop is huge, and I had to carry it around all day yesterday without even doing my work. I dont know if their upgrading or what, but it was pretty annoying...anyone know anything about this

I've had problems with the school wireless ever since I've gotten my laptop. There are just random days where it simply wont work regardless where I am :(

Yeah, it didn't wanna work for me one day in the library which really annoyed me. I ended up moving to the chemistry wing where I can get an Ethernet connection and use my laptop. :)

I saw a sign in the library today (a tiny little flyer) that said they are upgrading the wireless network, so it will not be working for a while. No time frame, no other information. I would think theyd understand the importance of internet for research (and socialization) purposes
