I have a problem

edited September 2007 in General
I daydream during lecture. Most of my classes are pretty interesting too, but I end up thinking about random things most of the time. And when i tune back into the lecture after 10 minutes, I have no idea what the prof is talking about. Anyone else have this problem?

    Me!!!!

I do this so much. It just happened yesterday. The prof was talking about something that was actually interesting, and then i started thinking about what i was gonna do on the weekend and what i needed to buy at Safeway later. When i clicked back into class, the prof was talking about sustainability and marketing. I was like, "wtf did i just miss?"

You gotta consider how much sleep you're getting. If you have trouble concentrating and had little sleep, then it's possibly because of the sleep. What about matters at home and relationships? Many people have these things on their mind when they are at school, so I guess it's fairly normal.

I am legendary at this. I can daydream about anything, during anything. Like, it's bad. I could be in the middle of being vivisected, and if it took long enough, my mind would wander to wondering what Quincy's sex life was like when he wasn't solving crimes, or some shit. It's a chronic problem.

Daydreaming is never really a huge big deal until you notice everyone around you frantically scribbling down something that the prof just said and you're like, dammit!
