hey everyone

I'm going into 4th year (BBA - Joint Major in MIS and Computing Science), but I'm on an 8-month co-op until before Christmas, then I'll be back to do my last 4 semesters here (taking it slowly so I can play more sports, be active in clubs, work part time, etc.)

Hey welcome! hope you enjoy the forums!

i'm doing a BBA Joint Major too, except in Finance & Economics, and planning on doing co-op as well. any opinions about the bba co-op program? is it good?

The co-op program is a good way to experience possible careers in your field of study. It is useful especially for me, because I can try 1 term as a Comp. Sci. position, another in an MIS position, or a kind of hybrid, etc. It will influence you to think about what kinds of positions you enjoy, given the wider scope of qualifications associated with a joint major.

I believe the co-op intake process begins 2 semesters before you actually have a job (1 semester for paperwork/prep., 1 semester to find a job).
