Seeking advice on Fall 2007 schedule (BUS Classes)

edited August 2007 in General
Hey guys. I was just wondering whether any of you could aid me in choosing the right class to fit into my Fall 2007 schedule. Currently, my schedule looks like this:

BUS 336 (M,W)
BUS 360 (W)
BUS 374 (T)
BUS 393 (R)

These are all upper level business core courses. The question I had was whether I should switch one of these classes to a class that falls into an area of concentration (switch BUS 374 to BUS 320) or leave it the way it is. Is it better to have a balance of core courses and concentration courses or take all the accounting (concentration) courses together? Thanks for the help!

Have you taken a look at the course planners yet? If you already know what you want to major in, then you should only take classes that directly apply to the program. Are you a new transfer?

I haven't declared my major yet, but I am leaning towards accounting. I was just wondering whether it'd be better to get all the upper level core business courses finished with before I start taking the accounting classes or if it would be better to balance them out (I have already completed half of the upper level core courses). Either way, I'll have to complete the rest of the business core courses and the accoutning courses, so I was just looking for some advice on the best way to go about it. Thanks.

I would balance them out. Either way, the upper division classes you do in accounting will still apply as credits towards your degree and it gives you a little bit more time to decide your concentration. Hope that helped, good luck!
