What's your summer job?
Hey!
I thought it would be fun to see the wacky things we are all doing this summer! I am working at a casino in Richmond (in the restaurant) and its been a pretty fun summer.
I actually really love jobs like this....low level, busy, in really unique settings that I am not normally exposed to. It makes me question my educational track.....

I wish I could say it was some shady casino I run out of my basement...I'd be raking it in instead of the 10$/hour I get now
I need to download pokerstars or something and just learn the basics.
15/hr on sunday, 11/regular
keeps me busy during the 5hrs a day everyday, no such thing as a slow boring day.
Then from july till last week I was in Chilliwack working at the base where I was in change of getting their website built for them. Much easier, less yelling and more fun.
all in all, very stressful. i was surprised at how much autonomy they allowed me seeing as i am just an intern. i've learned a lot though, but i can't wait till the contract ends in 2 weeks!!!!
But im done this job next Friday so im pretty psyched :D
/shrug the money helps for the bills and books, though my student loans are still pretty ugly :(
Living in another country is an interesting experience, but worth it. Even if it is only 2 hrs from home ;)
