How is the studying going?

edited August 2007 in General
Everyones really getting into finals right now, so just wondering how everyone is coping with it. Doing some cramming a few days before the exam, or just some casual review? I love the feeling you get when you finally finish that last exam and realize you have nothing else to worry about for 3 weeks. good luck!

I just finished my exams today. A good mix of alcohol, marijuana and cigarettes got me through these stressful times. Good luck to everyone still writing though.

finished an exam on wednesday which was SUPER easy, two more to go next week! i had been keeping with the course contents so really it's a review for me.

i have my own study habit of going out for dinner with my close friends, have a drink or two, nothing strenuous...i find it really relaxes me. socializing stimulates the brain as well!! a good way to keep the brain going if you need a break from studying. and plus there's food. who doesn't like food??

I say that because of his blatant advertisement of his need to use illegal narcotics and the huge consumption of alcohol in order to help him relax.

lol, are you a first year?

Sorry JayDub, I lead a stress filled life and exams only serve to increase the doubts and uncertainities that fill my head during this time. And plus, whats wrong with drinking or smoking? It may be unhealthy, I know, but sometimes people don't have any other effective coping mechanisms

Lol who cares if he needs that stuff to relax? Whatever works for him, right?

Well, it's not that it helps me get good marks but I get very nervous studying all day. It's like my brain is getting too much information too fast. So by relaxing a little at night and having a few drinks, I am fresh and stress free in the morning so I can study all day again. Next semester I am going to try and keep up with the material from day 1 so I won't have to smoke or anything when finals come around. It's better to just read a little bit everyday than have to try and learn it all at once thats for sure.

To each his own. Scorning drug use is one thing, scorning a lifestyle choice is another matter altogether.
