Best Breakfast and Lunch Restaurants

edited August 2007 in General
The best breakfast restaurant in the GVRD is a place on W17 and Cambie called, "The Wooden Shoe." It's a dutch restaurant and mostly sells pannekoek for a pretty good price. If you decided to go there and try it, order number twenty-six off of the menu which is a pannekoek with eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, and hashbrowns on it. You then roll it up and put hollandaise sauce on top.

As well, a bit away from SFU, between Langely and Surrey in the Port Kells area is a deli called, "La Charcuterie" and for no more than $6 you can get a sub about a foot in length with meat two inches thick, plus all the vegetables and cheeses that you want.

Just a heads up if you are in those areas and hungry.

Thanks! I'm not really a pannekoek (pancake?) type of guy, but that meat sub sounds delicious...I'm gettin hungry just thinking of it

There's actually a place in Surrey too, right by the Staples on King George highway. They have huge subs for $5 and its impossible to finish in one sitting.
