    mountain biking

basically every time my friends and I hit up the local biking spots I whip out the camera

sometimes I will just ride around town and snap shots of flowers or buildings or whatever else looks good.

as far as 4 courses, nowadays its recommended for those just starting out

anybody else here in comp sci?

    Hey Igor,

I could tell you like mountain-biking just by looking at your display pic

I used to ride, but have not done so in a long, long time. Have you ridden up at SFU? Where do you usually ride?

Mostly ride at the local skate park. I did some actual "mountain" biking last summer up on Fromme. I got owned by all the trails I went on, so I'll probably stick to the concrete and dirt jumps from now on. I might get some courage to go back for another beating later this summer though:smile: . As for biking at SFU, its out of the question because I have no car and its pretty far away to go there by bus just to ride.

Yeah I'm new. I had a session with an academic advisor so I'm set (I hope)
Try looking around your program's web site. There might be a list of courses that you have to take.

To know what you have to take, you need to know what you want to be. Then you need to know which faculty is most related to that field. Then you need to find out the requirements for that faculty/program. This will help you figure out which classes you need enroll in, and in what order. It sounds pretty logical, but it ends up being a very dynamic process as you go through university and figure out what you really want to do with your life, so always keep your options open.
