Luongo Nominated for 3 Awards

This just shows what the Canucks would be without Luongo in net. He's nominated for the Hart Trophy (MVP), Vezina (Best Goalie), and the Pearson (Outstanding Player as selected by peers)...no one else has been nominated for 3 awards let alone actually have a shot at winning more than one. The awards are on Thursday, can't wait to see what happens

and get this:
The Canucks have had only three major award winners in team history -- Pavel Bure (rookie), Markus Naslund (Pearson) and Pat Quinn (coach) -- a fact that caught Luongo off guard. He has a chance to make it four on Thursday, or perhaps even five and six.

    yay!! he really deserves at least one of those awards. I felt that he carried the team on his shoulders during the playoffs and most of the season!

    it was SO heartbreaking seeing that eliminating goal against the Ducks, my eyes welled up!
