Any advantage to getting a cga after a ba?

My friend's gf is doing it. She has a BBA from SFU and now she's working on her CGA. Most senior level accounting positions actually ask that you have a CGA and you do make more so clearly there is an advantage.

What kind of degree do you need? Do you need experience in order to qualify for the CGA designation?

You can use any degree but you have to complete a certain amount of accounting courses I believe. You need a senior level accounting position to get the designation.
