CANUCKS THREAD

edited December 2007 in General
Hey did anyone watch the game last night? They came out hustlin hard but I knew Anaheim would turn it on sooner or later. This is gonna be a tough series for the Canucks...they gotta beat Sellanne, Pronger, and then Guigere before they are gonna get any goals..and what was up with that pass Henrik Sedin made, he had a wide open net and totally messed up.

its gonna be tough if sale/bieksa dont come back soon
  • edited April 2007
Bieksa and Salo might make a difference when they come back but I think its more important for the Canucks to play better..the sedins, and naslund really need to pick it up if we're going to get anywhere...its funny that Burke built the canucks and now his team is playing against them lol

Bumping a very, very old thread (but it had to be done)...
Has anyone caught a game this season? I'm pretty sure I've been bad luck for the Canucks thus far. 2 regular season games, 2 losses. I'm heading down to Dallas in February, so hopefully that will result in a win.

I have also been teaching my 1.5 year old cousin a few things about the boys. I think she's catching on.

by caught do you mean on TV or do you mean @ GM place?
  • edited December 2007
GM Place of course. I would be kicking myself if I had only seen two games on TV this season.

I went to a couple of games early in the season but my plans to hit it up over the christmas break are so far going unrealized.

Don't worry, he hates you too :P

Are you from Ottawa or something? Either way, Heatley and Spezza have so much skill so I have respect for the Senators.

Its not just that Kevin. The Sens even after moving Havlat, is one of the deepest teams in the league depth wise. I think Fisher and Eaves are out, thats 2/3rds of a very talented line in itself. Although I can't say for sure they play together even when they weren't out though...

oh well they wont be judged for the regular season play anyways, just like the canucks (though we gotta make it first lol, any injuries and the nucks are screwed)

Theres one guy, if he ever gets hurt long term, we're done for. Who might he be

I also remember that one year where Naslund got hurt in March against Anaheim I believe (broken arm I think, slammed into boards awkwardly) and we just died down the stretch and got shit kicked out of the playoffs >.<
