Girls who carry/have condoms - a concern?

Fellas, ever found yourself in the heat of the moment at a girls house(obviously not someone you're dating exclusively or for a very long time) and when it comes to that special special moment you blurt out, "i dont have a condom." and she calmly replies, "its ok, i do"

Does this make you guys worry or at least raise suspicion that she may be a woman of "loose morals" or something worse??

Personally, I think its the 2000's and i'm just happy that she at least takes precaution, but i have heard some men get seriously uptight about it. plus it saves me the $4.99 :wink:

    lol, first of all, carrying a condom in the wallet, not a good idea =)
    also, probably at the heat of moment when she does announce that she has one, it won't bother me since I'm gonna get some... I mean, if she's willing to sleep with some random dude, i.e me, when what makes me think that she's not doing it with others too?

    I donno, I'm not a big relationship guy after my last fell apart, and I hate the double standard where men are pimps and women are hos... so yeah, I have totally no problem with women carrying condoms around :D

    unless u see like a massive stash of like a few hundred condoms in the closet, that might make u think twice (but in the heat of the moment who knows lol haha)

    It's not a worry at all!!! i'd be pissed if you didn't have a condom! it shouldn't always be the guys responsibility. No you should have a condom automatically, so should the guy. but hey they both work as back up systems.

    I think that it shows that she is a smart and sophisticated girl who doesn't want to get pregnant or sick.

    Why are we not surprised if men are carrying condoms? A woman has just as much right to her sexuality! And it shows that she is SMART and not "of loose morals". It's so funny that we don't make these assumptions about men...

    Lots of women are on the pill anyway.

    Doesn't phase me in the least.....

    I think more women should have them around....I never do and always have to make a run to a gas station or something, which is a complete pain in the ass.

    Wow look what the feminine movement did to you guys so pathetic. You think women and men are all equal and that women should carry condoms on them? Wow , you guys are caling sluts "responsible" for carrying condoms. The last time I checked it was the hookers who supply condoms, not regular girls. If i was with a girl and she had condoms on her id run the oppositite direction so i dont get a disseasse i dunno whats wrong wit u people.

    I guess being precautionary isnt something bad. But the fact that she says that at a special moment would probably turn me off.
    n this is not double-standard, Just imagine this:
    Girl: I like you, but don't think I am that kinda people who sleeps around. Boy: uh? wut?
    Girl: I mean.. Im kinda worried.
    Boy: AHhh! Don't worry, I always carry condoms in my wallet. oh, and I have vibrators and a anal douche in my backpack too.

    I personally think it's a good idea to have a condom or two in your bedroom and in your coat (although in your wallet is a problem as your body heat tends to degrade the material). One should be prepared for all possibilities.

    Moralizing about feminism, hookers and the like is a rather lame attempt to sidestep the need to prepare for all options.

    Moralizing doesn't change the need to be prepared for all options. Judgement is the easiest thing to do in the world and is usually done with an incomplete set of facts.

    I think it's a good thing. The girl I like now, and my ex carried around condoms, but they definitely aren't sluts.

    Do you guys know if the health center at SFU still has those little plastic condom protectors? Or where can we get those things? Ruining all my damn condoms by carrying em around in my pocket.

    I think these days, if a girl is in the mindset to carry condoms, she just goes on the pill. It's not protection from STD's, but I think girls mostly worry about pregnancy, anyway.

    girls have to cause they know guys are too dumb / lazy / lack the foresight to carry them themselves, or its that typical condom that has been in the wallet since they were brave enough to get one from the health counsellor or drug store

    even though this is an old thread someone above mentions it takes two to tango, which effectively ends the entire question this thread brings up

    i have a shitload of condoms in my bedroom, have i used many of them no, but id rather not have to ruin the moment to make the guy run downstairs and buy one, or end up getting pregnant or with some random STD

    also the pill is one of the best inventions ever, not getting your period on a regular basis is a good thing

    besides you should be a lot more worried about girls who will have unprotected sex with you cause it shows theyre willing to do it with other guys, have fun when you get gonorrhea or chlamydia or aids
