    just talk to her after class and ask her on a date/out for coffee/etc. straightforward, nothing to lose.

    this is coming from a girl, btw.

    Well, I don't think you want to just ask her out before not getting to know her, because she might see you as a really shallow guy who's only interested in her for her looks. Maybe that would've worked in high school, but most college girls want to be appreciated for their personality/intelligence as much as for their beauty. What I would do is get to know her, hang out a little so that you establish an acquaintanceship, and THEN ask her out before the two of you start getting too comfy and "friendly". Get to know each other, but leave some mystery so that she'll want to date you in order to get to know you more.

    Pfft, you don't just walk up to some stranger and ask them out, that just makes you seem desperate. You need to talk to her for a bit to get kinda acquained first, then you ask her out later. You want to see what their personality is like, she might be dumb as a brick or worse, a gold digger that will spend 3 grands of your money in 1 month. You gotta have patience, dating is a lot like hunting. You gotta be like the tiger, blend in with the surrounding and creep up on her, when you get within striking distance, BAM!! pounce on her without hesitation. The key point is the approach, you gotta appear sincere and actually interested in her.

    I think he's preparing for next semester. Rumour has it that there are classes offered during summer :omg: and apparently girls tend to wear less clothing during summer as well :wink:

    Seriously guys! I've been starin at this chick in class all semester (I know it sounds kinda stalkerish) but seriously I have a huge crush on her. Obviously its too late now but maybe I'll see her during the final exam and I'll punch her lol jk I think coffee or something would be cool, nice and casual...or a slurpee! mmm

    The problem is is that if you've been starin' at her for so long, so have a bunch of other motivated fellas. Hence, either you have some stiff competition (no pun intended :wink: ) or she's already taken by now.

    I don't mean to be so disheartening, but that's the way life goes.

    Guess there's only one way to find out is she's taken though . . . . . ask her?

    This is actually quite depressing, I've been in situations like that before, I know what it's like. You sound like you're seriously lacking confidence, you need to find some way to make yourself a more confident person. I would suggest working out, because nothing boosts your confidence like muscle and testosterone. And even if she has a boyfriend, it shouldn't stop you. It's very easy to ruin a relationship.

    a way to get to her is make friends with her friends and ask them to introduce you to her, then go for coffee or something then punch her in the face lol. but seriously if your too shy to upfront meet her, find away around it
