    this is a good phone, why are u selling it? The reception on this thing is supposedly excellent. Can u post a better picture, I might buy it.

    this is indeed a good phone. i'm selling because i need the cash and i already have a great cellphone.

    the reception is strong, especially on rogers, full all the time, at home, on SFU campus, elevators etc. camera is impressive as well as the blinding LEDS haha.

    tested for defects, used it for some calls, tested functions, bluetooth etc.

    i'll get some better pictures, or i can actually meet you up on campus which would be even better no?

    If I change a phone, will I have to change my phone# too? I'm with telus right now and I don't like the plan. However, I have a good number and I don't wanna change that.

    unfortunately, telus doesn't use SIM cards ( GSM ) , but like bell, telus uses CDMA. so they assign a number to your cellphone ( to what i understand )

    if your'e with rogers/fido, the numbers are assigned to the SIMcard, so you can put the simcard into different phones.

    unfortunately you're with telus, so unless you change providers, you wont be able to use this phone. but there's a new thing called number portability that was released begining of march, i dont know too much but magnificent bastard can probably help asnwer some questions if you PM him.

    I'm gonna change provider, telus has crappy phones and they give me only 170 minutes. I only want my current phone number, because it has a lot of 9s in it.

    Anyways, I pay u $250 if u unlock it for me.

    Number portability starts today, actually. So come one come all, get your numbers changed.

    El_Cambumbo, if you want your number transferred over to Rogers, it's possible, but are you still under contract with Telus? If you're not, I believe you can just walk into a Rogers, and they can switch your number over for you. That way, you'll keep your existing phone number, and you'll have a plan with Rogers. You'll have to pay your final Telus bill, but that's about it. Voila, you're part of the Rogers family.

    and its march 14, not march 1 for number portability my bad.

    well then el cambubo i'd rather just sell to you then my other buyers that i have to meet elsewhere since you're giong to up campus anyways.
